In April, @Sunnybrook performed first 2 robotic complex mitral repairs by small incisions. Both patients did well, went home in 3 days. Super grateful and privileged to lead this dedicated team. Special thanks @DEmersonMD for proctoring @SmidtHeart @UofTCVsurgery @UofTSurgery

Yes! Always preaching “statin induced liver injury is super rare” yet unfortunately it’s frequently held and suspected as the culprit when patients present with severely elevated liver enzymes.
