@ATLTransitLink Wild this project is being prioritized over transit expansion. Get BeltLine rail rolling. Campbellton BRT. North Ave BRT. Constituents taxed ourselves and projects are idling- yet somehow redoing a roof is moving forward. We didn’t want a new roof- we wanted new transit lines!!!

Furthermore, any OTHER project that would use that money is YEARS away in terms of study time necessary. We could break ground on Streetcar East next year if we stopped stalling our own progress. Anyone pushing for anything else at this point is trying to prevent that progress.

@atlurbanist As a Downtown resident, if we had Streetcar East in place today, the Beltline Kroger would be my most directly transit accessible grocery store. By not having that transit in place, my trip for groceries is made more complicated. I hope SE goes forward.

I love seeing people walk from Kroger with bags of groceries on the Eastside Beltline! Many Atlantans will happily get to destinations without a car if you give them safe, attractive infrastructure for doing it. It's only a "car city" when we fail to provide great alternatives.

I'm just so, SO tired of folks trying to make Armour Infill a thing when it makes no sense from a city-design, regional connectivity, or even engineering perspective. Just put a Beltline light rail stop there, and let the trails cross-connect people to surrounding areas.

I know this is confusing, but PCT hasnt been studied in RCTs as a DIAGNOSTIC test. It was studied as a PROGNOSTIC BIOMARKER. Several implications. 1) We don't use PCT to diagnose anything. It's not to Dx bacterial vs. viral PNA. Sensitivity/specificity are not really relevant.

While you are not testing pods, 1) it shows how large and inefficient they are and 2) you *are* normalizing large vehicles on the BeltLine for your tour. Perhaps your tours should only be on foot, bike, wheelchair, or other small devices like everyone else experiences it.

The voters who won Trump the election, particularly in the battlegrounds, aren’t going to turn out in 2026 similar to Obama’s low-propensity voters not turning out in 2010 or 2014. The political system doesn’t have much incentive to figure them out when they’re gone for 4 years.

It’s a helluva lot easier to fund & build protected bike lanes & trails than it is transit projects. Latter has too much red tape, cost dependencies, & can have rug pulled out after elections. As a result, I find it better to spend my time “locally”

we've been seeing more inland flooding and not always even associated with hurricanes. for better or worse, the media has a playbook for covering big storms when they make landfall, that playbook will have to adjust and expand with less predictable, more dispersed inland foods
