"Imagine making 1,000 hopes & dreams come true," says chief medical officer @Francois1Fritz. On 4/29, @nyulangone sent home its 1000th successfully-treated #COVID19 patient from the main campus, who emerged from the hospital amid cheers from staff, nurses, & healthcare workers.
It has been a while since we have heard the joyous sound of this bell ringing on the @uchealth @CUPhysMed unit. Today we get the honor of sending home our first #COVID19 #Rehab patient. Nowhere near the 1000th from @nyulangone but still worth celebrating! #Physiatry #COVID

May be attributed to medications during #ICU stay but concerned about effect of #COVID19 on nervous system globally.

In a retrospective study of 214 patients with #COVID19, neurological symptoms were seen in 36.4%, and more common in severe cases (45.5%), which included acute cerebrovascular events (5.7%), impaired consciousness (14.8%) and muscle injury (19.3%) ja.ma/3a16fvv

Below: this is how I am taking my cell phone into ICU during #COVID19 I am amazed that my touch screen & fingerprint security access works through the bag. Even the phone audio worked well The snack sized bag is a great fit for my phone Will make infection control easier!
My snack bag phone cover. Surprisingly everything works through the plastic: faceID, touchID, touch gestures, even voice calls. Easier disinfection routine with isopropyl alcohol or replace with new one every time.
