This is an important point, and one Iāve never denied. Joe and I were speaking in general terms about āvaccinesā for āyoung peopleā, which in the aggregate are less risky than Covid.

@joshzepps Josh, you answered Ā«there isĀ» when Joe said that thereās not a bigger risk of getting myocarditis from Covid compared to getting it from the vaccines. You were specifically addressing myocarditis. At least be honest.
@SolbergJohnsen Yes, youāre misunderstanding the above tweet. Iām still talking only about myocarditisāwhich there is, indeed, a lower risk of getting from Covid compared to from the vaccines
@joshzepps Well, Iām reading your words, Josh. Joe was talking about myocarditis in Ā«young boysĀ», and you responded. For most or all groups one would reasonably classify as Ā«young boysĀ», the risk of peri/myocarditis from several of the vaccine variants exceeds that of getting it from Covid
@SolbergJohnsen When you add qualifiers ā Moderna specifically, at specific ages ā you get a diff answer than when you speak generally, as Joe did, about vaccines for young males, which remain safer than Covid
@joshzepps So, do you truly believe that the statement Ā«for young boys, the vaccines are safer in terms of myocarditis than Covid isĀ» has a degree of truthfulness and accuracy that allows it to be useful?
@joshzepps Also, Josh, youāre wrong. For males <40 both two doses Pfizer as well as two doses Moderna have a higher risk of myocarditis than Covid infection. Are you going to do the right thing and retract the medical misinformation youāve spread to millions of ppl? vinayprasadmdmph.substack.com/p/uk-now-reporā¦
