Had an interesting experience with @Expedia. We prepaid our hotel, it caught on fire, we were kicked out in the middle of the night, and had to find another hotel. Guess what? No refund for that night and @Expedia supports it. Not much sense on using them in the future.

@RustonKelly I’m 56 and took my wife to see you in Phoenix (a great show by the way) a few year. Also, became a Big Thief fan over the last couple of years. Discovering new music is fun.

@autumntjohnson ……..something improper. You may feel that the Legislature should be directing SRP to do something different but the majority of them and SRP’s customers seem to feel differently. And in democratic systems the majority tends to rule.

@autumntjohnson No, landowners are specifically shareholders. You are thinking that means the same as for investor owned utilities. It does not. The legislature provides oversight when needed. I would define needed as SRP not meeting the majority of its customers’ needs or wants, or…….1/2

@autumntjohnson SRP does have shareholders, they are the individual land owners. It is the foundation of their governance structure. Also, the Legislature has held SRP accountable. Just go back and look at the history behind the addition of the four at-large directors to the board.

@AZAGMayes ADWR really needs more funding in order to do those studies. They were decimated under years of Republican legislative and gubernatorial control. So that they can’t even effectively track water use. Please use your powers to help get them the staffing they need.

@brahmresnik @washingtonpost ADWR has been rendered rather useless under a series of Republican Governors and Legislators. They are not capable of even tracking who uses what water. Large water providers alter reporting amounts or report the same amounts to remain in compliance and ADWR is unable to catch it

@joannaallhands @azcentral Your question is fair and the reasons you line out seem to be what is happening. The whole desal in Mexico idea is classic 19th century exploitation concept being pushed by folks from a specific political perspective. As you note, spending the money in state makes more sense.

So our (@PatriciaCMurphy) 2021 Ford Transit @ford with 5,800 mi broken down in the middle of the Mohave Desert 5 days ago. A starter failure. Still waiting on @ford to fix at dealership. @ford sent the dealer the wrong starter so still stuck. Really regretting buying @ford.

@runcamille @ComradesRace @Nedbank_RC I did Comrades the year that you won. You crushed it. It is one of my all-time favorite races too. Everyone associated with the race (runners, spectators, organizers, and volunteers) made for a fantastic experience. Hope to get back there one day.
