@fchollet I have been playing around with a higher bandwidth approach to code review lately. After a significant chunk of work I get a HTML handoff report that demonstrates everything working, the friction points, necessary follow ups etc. it is working well!

@DanielLockyer One of the things I have found helpful is actually forcing it to measure performance. Normally chasing performance at the expense of maintainability is not a good tradeoff, but I have found that modest perf constraints actually lead LLMs to write more maintainable code.

@huacnlee Completely agree! I had 500GB in target output 😅. It’s ridiculous. Crate hygiene does go a long way but I also built a tool to solve exactly this issue: github.com/jordanwebster/… Feel free to clone it and modify it to your needs or submit a PR. It works super well for me now.
