The Mayor of Mississauga refused to answer questions on AI mass surveillance. Said “today is a happy day.” Mississauga quietly rolled out a network of license plate reading cameras across the city. What they tell you: the cameras are only for catching criminals. What they won't confirm: that your data stays in Canada, isn't shared, isn't kept forever, and isn't used for anything else. Basic questions. She gave zero answers. These same “Flock systems” are now in front of US Senate hearings over mass surveillance. Ours arrived with no debate at all.

@bruce_mcgonigal I did get a heat pump. I wished I never did. Can't keep my house at comfortable temperature. I live up north. It runs constantly. It doesn't stop cuz it's fighting to keep my house warm. Just warm. Was it worth it? Not at all

I heard Burt Reynolds was trending. 😂😭 Edith sure liked him in Playgirl

This week on “People pretending to be honest” 2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. But this time we have the proof. We know you live in Clonee and only we are to busy to call and on you and collect either the money or claim the produce back….. I bet your husband will be mortified when he sees this🤭 We think ah good shaming is in order! In fact the daughters egg carrying ability is worthy of a job! We would be thankful if you shared so we could get a name for these two. They aren’t welcome back at Dunne’s farm and be sure to remind them if you see them🕵️ For the record… When we post these videos, We’re not looking for pity, sympathy or anything of the sort. We run a farm, we work hard, and unfortunately there will always be a certain type of people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to take what doesn’t belong to them. We just happen to believe that in a fair and honest world, dishonest behaviour should have consequences — and sometimes a little public embarrassment is one of them. 😏 #dunnesfarmeggthief #dunnesfarmeggs #dishonest #eggrobbery

🚨 AMERICANS ARE FINDING OUT WHAT “MADE IN ITALY” REALLY MEANS ON THEIR PASTA — AND THEY’RE PISSED If you’re paying extra for “real Italian pasta,” you might want to check the package. Because “Made in Italy” doesn’t necessarily mean the wheat was grown in Italy. Italy has a massive pasta industry and imports durum wheat from countries including the U.S., Canada, Turkey and Kazakhstan. That means wheat can be grown in America, shipped across the Atlantic, turned into pasta in Italy and shipped right back to American grocery stores carrying “Made in Italy” on the package. Technically, it was made there. But if you thought you were paying extra specifically for Italian grown wheat, that’s a very different story. The labels to look for are “100% Italian grain” or “100% Grano Italiano.” Otherwise, “Made in Italy” alone doesn’t tell you where the wheat was grown. So that premium Italian pasta you’re buying could essentially be American wheat that took a European vacation. If the wheat can come from America and return with a premium “Made in Italy” label, what exactly are you actually paying extra for?

To the father at the farmers market who pointed at my Rottweiler today and told his little boy, “Stay back. Those dogs can turn on you.” You saw her size. You saw the heavy scar across her face. But you didn’t see the lives she saved. Her name is Sadie, and she spent six long years working beside my husband on an urban search-and-rescue team. She didn’t learn gentleness in a clean backyard; she forged it in the absolute dark of human disasters. When a violent tornado destroyed an elementary school, Sadie crawled beneath shifting, unstable concrete debris. She refused to move, barking until firefighters began digging and found two small children trapped underneath. Both were still alive because she refused to give up on them. Years later, an apartment building collapsed after a gas explosion. Shattered glass cut Sadie’s face as she searched through the burning wreckage, but she kept working through the pain until she located an elderly woman buried beneath a staircase. That scar you noticed on her muzzle today wasn’t left by a vicious fight. It is the permanent mark of her devotion to us. She is retired now. Her joints are slower, and her face is graying, but her protective soul remains absolute. I don’t know how many more seasons I’ll have with her, but I know she spent her entire life protecting strangers who will never know her name. We don’t need a flawless appearance to be worthy of love. Sometimes, the most beautiful hearts carry the deepest scars. If Sadie’s legacy touched your heart, save this post and share it to your Stories to honor the senior heroes who gave everything for us.

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING - 350 Hamilton steelworkers just lost their jobs. Up to 500 impacted. Stelco is in survival mode. The same tariffs Carney promised he could negotiate away. He couldn't. Now Hamilton pays for it. Right before Christmas. Carney flew to the UN and pledged $100 million to Palestine this week.

Caledon, Ontario: These two stole all the bags of firewood available for sale roadside for the second time in less than a month. They have enough money for a +$100k Denali pickup but would rather steal than pay people for their hard work. Make them famous, these people are turning Canada into a low trust society.
