I want my daughter to see a father who is grateful, but not done. Who celebrates progress, but still pursues growth. Who puts in the work day after day and achieves his goals, so she learns she can accomplish anything that she wants to as long as she puts in the work.

That feeling when you say you’re going to do something and then you follow through and you do it. Not at the end when you cross the finish line at a marathon. I’m talking about right now. The small steps in between the big successes that no one sees. Right now. In the process.

The majority of my training has been done alone since I schedule my training around my family and work. I enjoy the solitude. But during this training block I’ve had the pleasure to run with ppl weekly and that shit is powerful. Especially when they are on the same mission 🫡
