Noooo...#pwLC PLEASE try and prevent these over activity and crash cycles I keep reading that you're in...⚠️ Boom 💥 and bust 🛌 isn't sustainable long term. It may take years but eventually the bust part can end up being your permanent state. #StopRestPace #LongCovid #pwME
@kimisgubbed Im really struggling with this at the moment. Very aware im possibly at an inflection point where im considering whether continuing to work is sustainable. Each time i go to work I wonder if thatll be the last. All the harder cos some weeks seem (relatively) fine, arghh
@kimisgubbed I second this. I pushed through mild mecfs for years, always thinking I could get back to where I was before by resting all weekend .. then holiday from work.. then couple of months on sick leave etc. I couldn’t. Eventually ended up near bedbound with severe mecfs.
@kimisgubbed We're moving into my partner's parents' annexe in a month and leaving the house empty while we sell, it's 6 hours away so we won't be coming back this way to finish anything off and it feels like there's far too much to get done by then ☹️
@kimisgubbed This can't really be emphasised enough. Definitely a case of 'less is more'.
@kimisgubbed It accumulates. It’s not just ‘one thing’ that does it usually. I think this is the hardest part because we ALL want to do stuff so bad.
@kimisgubbed I find it heartbreaking 💔, when I see people trying to push through themselves or exercise being recommended by health professionals, without any understanding of the risk of deterioration involved.
@kimisgubbed I had to UNfollow someone as I was screaming at them inside "what the heck are you doing"!
