With two weeks left before the February 17 bill introduction deadline, there have been over 420 ABs and 300 SBs introduced. Of the more than 700 bills introduced so far, over half of them are placeholders (spot or intent). We should expect another 1,600+ bills to be introduced.

The Assembly has introduced about 265 bills and the Senate about 225. Half of those are Budget Committee intent bills. Of the roughly 490 bills introduced, just over 300 are intent bills. By the February 17 deadline, expect about 2,000 more bills to be introduced over four weeks
