in the Vanderbilt article it said to “teach by discovery” i like that a lot because if you teach something they’re interested in they’ll actually be engaged with the topic, basically letting the kids tell you want they want to learn #EDU300
in the second article, it said that children need to feel safe to actually learn. I personally think that's why teachers try to make the classroom so homey and comfortable. For some kids, the classroom is their home #EDU300
piglets update: they’re getting so large, but still super cute
I told the kids we had baby pigs yesterday, 1 kid told me to bring in a pig because he was not allergic, since he had an allergy test. then all the kids were upset because I wouldn't smuggle in a piglet. (p.s. that's steve) #EDU300

On Monday's the class shares out things from their weekend, one 4th grader said: I had a pretty good weekend, I ate all my Valentime's candy and got diarrhea. Oh, and my cat died #EDU300
