Excited to present work out today at @NEJM_AI with @amey_vrudhula @jwestonhughes @yuanneal. We show that question formulation is important medical AI. In developing AI-ECG models, we show that choosing a REGRESSION task outperforms a CLASSIFICATION task for for low EF.

I have heard that Dr. C. Thomas Peter passed away this morning after a long battle with ALS. Dr. Peter was a great friend and mentor. I will miss him dearly. His ECG textbook HeartsBehavingBadly (heartsbehavingbadly.com) shows his love for cardiac EP. I highly recommend it.

@leftbundle Completely agree. Have said this to my team on many occasion & they know! Also that the introduction should be short: definition/burden, limitations of other studies, opportunity, & therefore aim.
@leftbundle Long? Yes. Can be misguided? Yes. (I'm guilty too). But necessary? For sure. We need context to complete a cohesive story. Not everyone can digest naked methodology and data and understand and apply (guilty again). Same w/ guidelines. Recommendation boxes are needed! @drjohnm
