@shashj Regardless of statements it will be very hard for Israeli leaders to do anything but try to "destroying Hamas forever", although success is not granted and price will be enormous. Currently the public will not accept anything short of this, although it can change over time.

The distance car goes in case of emergency stop is a sum of two: 1) inertia 2) distance after driver recognizes an obstacle but before he hits brakes. This is human reaction time, average it is 3/4 sec. At 100 km/h a car will go ~21m during this time.

@minkofforama @BoyanSlat @paulg - Number of cars will decrease because cars will be shared. Today a typical car is used for couple of hours a day and idle most of the time. – Most of the distance between cars is needed because of human reaction time. Computers are much faster, need less space.
