Something we got right collectively as a society before the internet and social media was creating separate spaces for every part of life Now we try to make our homes be our places of work, a substitution for our social life, education, etc Remembering high school pre smart phones, I was mentally not worried about or thinking about things unless I was in the appropriate physical location for them. For example, I only thought about math class in my math classroom or at my desk at home doing homework Now I carry a phone around everywhere that constantly reminds me of work I need to do I think we lost something valuable in our efforts to be constantly connected and accessible to everyone.
