Slug sperm! @markwill93 is studying whether invasive species of Arion slugs have longer sperm than their native relatives, using our SEM. If so, they're more likely to ‘win’ during competition with native slugs, causing rapid genetic dilution of native slug species #microscopy

@fonthintrelpine Yes! Those ones exactly. You can buy them as finely ground or just grind them up yourself with a motar and pestle. It is much easier for the slug to ingest when they are well ground. I normally dust a thin layer on the lid of their enclosures.
