The 9yo decided to do a little morning #math by sorting his fruit snacks by flavor. He noticed that the amount of strawberries was the same as all the other flavors combined. #mtbos

#blackouttuesday when purchasing books, make sure to research local bookstores, research black owned bookstores. There are several lists online of places you can support.

Who else is having an inverse pencil problem while #distancelearning? At school I always "lend" out my pencils only to have them never return. At home I find > 10 pencils a day left in random spots around the house by my children #iteachmath #mtbos

To prep for today’s Morning Math w/ the Gallaghers, the oldest and I went on a quick #scavengerhunt for #Fibonacci numbers in nature! We found lots of 5’s, some 8’s and even a 13! We would love to see your Fibonacci in Nature pictures #mtbos #iteachmath #beautyofmaths
