@twitandrewking It's true that clock repairs of this nature are growing increasingly difficult to obtain (and afford). In Winchester, the downtown committee had to source parts from Switzerland, and the clock in Chesterville ran $10K+ to get it operational again.

@emdashklatt Absolutely. I wanted to tell "those" kind of stories (obviously to a much smaller audience, but it was my own empire), and had the good fortune of doing so - beyond the long arm of daily coverage and the total disarray of society writ large.

@JournalismTMU Prepare to learn a lot and make nearly no money. Also, buy a good sleeping bag and pillow, because you may to live in your car as your salary won't match rent/mortgage prices.

@kellykbergeron @EricDuncanSDSG @PierrePoilievre Unfortunately we're seeing from both @EricDuncanSDSG and @PierrePoilievre that their days of kissing the ring of Stephen Harper harnessed them to buy into the "big tent" of party philosophy, and neither are remotely concerned with whom they allow in.

@kellykbergeron @_llebrun @PierrePoilievre Surprised @EricDuncanSDSG isn't also there, frankly. Considering he's hitched to @PierrePoilievre coattails. Deeply embarrassing, indeed.

@waub Most often I've found myself moving a load of the kids' laundry into the dryer (or out to hang on the line) to allow me to add another load to the washer.

@farmerschneck My condolences to you, Warren, and the entire Schneckenburger family. I must also thank you for the posting the link to the Dundas County Ag Hall of Fame's site. In the span of time, I'd forgotten my part in the writing those entries. It was an honour.

@robferguson1 Immediately bought this book for my kids after hearing of this story last week. It's hysterical.

@phillipblancher It exists solely as a Conservative bastion where voters will continually go back to the same well despite a lack of proper representation. Keep those clippings from local papers coming with taxpayer-funded cards and the dog whistle works.

@phillipblancher Ha. Those are good. It's infuriating though. The Harper government helped bail out GM, and I certainly don't see a Chevrolet in every driveway. Government money doesn't dictate all - but those thoughts don't break through tinfoil caps.

@phillipblancher Remember to thank Trudeau as much as you thank Harper, Chretien or Mulroney for the years of federal support that has helped with newspaper postage/mailing costs. People are imbeciles.

@phillipblancher My kids are 5 and 3, and I'm already keeping an eye on the offerings at our local high school. It's going to take a major shift for me to give more consideration for enrollment there - even if it is years away at this point.

@EricDuncanSDSG "Disgusting and pathetic displays of poor character" (your words) is rampant in all of Parliament these days. This isn't a one side of the aisle versus the other debate. It's actually gross watching any MP conduct "business" in Parliament.

@phillipblancher Not for soccer, but we use TeamSnap for Seaway Surge (Rally Cap level for Atticus). No issues. Easy to use, schedule, and direct messages members.

@sproudfoot Of course, we don't know what will come to pass (I'm running away if my kids are home). But, this does smell like further union contempt for the provincial government, and comments such are thrown out simply to rattle cages and provide talking points to the opposition parties.

@kkirkup Not sure if it's available in the online booking for the Brewer site, but when we took our daughter we called the phone number to set-up both the test and doctor visit. Also this: cheo.on.ca/en/clinics-ser…
