The amount of content out there showing me how to bang out a website in 30 seconds using [insert 3 new AI tools] feels pretty overkill. These tools don't seem to be game changing IMO. Cursor, maybe. But only for real SE work.

#productivity for productivity’s sake is worse than pointless. Be focused. Prioritize ruthlessly. The 80/20 is real in any important aspect of life. Real productivity doesn’t look like being busy. It looks like steady, efficient production of high value results.

I avoid boolean function arguments. Here’s why. 🚩 They’re hard to read. 🚩 They infer the function does two different things Here's two common examples, with solutions. Example 1 - Hard to read: Example 2 - Does two things: In both cases, the code reads more clearly.
