I don't have many followers (and many of these are bots) but there are some real humans out there and I've genuinely enjoyed interacting with you but I no longer wish to participate in this site while it's current owner uses it to amplify his weird brand of politics.

I will be going to the main competition but I feel like I need to do something different there. I often find myself doomscrolling just to get political contact. Not only is this unhealthy but it feels like I'm encouraging the extremists and trolls.

As America makes a massive decision today, I have made my own much smaller one: I am leaving this site. A few weeks ago I realized that no matter who wins this election, this site is likely to get more toxic.
