Today: Care agency won’t visit ppl w/covid w/o newly required PPE (face visor). YES! - carers contact so many vulnerable ppl. But agency can't source face visors nor can council! As one off hospital worker delivered a visor to discharged person.Thnks! What happens to the others?

A lot of language we use is constructed round power. We use language to imply, instil, suggest, demand a hierarchy in power. Johnson was trying to demean Corbyn by saying fear is female.

I see some people are struggling with why trying to insult people calling them a ‘big girl’s blouse’ is unacceptable. It’s because it accepts that people are inferior if they are like something female. It puts female stuff on a rung below men’s.

Had a customer in this morning - an older gentleman, with an Ebike. He said, "I've got Parkinson's you know, but when I get on my bike, I don't have Parkinson's any more." That's freedom. Not much more to say really.
