@CFDevelop One other example is that you can implement two unrelated types in a class, so now casts between those seemingly unrelated types might actually succeed!

@CFDevelop It's not _that_ easy for Dart to detect completely incompatible types (maybe unless sealed etc. is involved), in many cases you can construct values where even weird type casts will work at runtime.

@mraleph @bltavares ... which is why it's sometimes hard to debug exceptions in async code. I just think it's a bit confusing because processValue itself doesn't contain an await, but I can see why it would make sense for it to show up in the stack trace.

@lets4r @_incendial Because id was declared as `int?` when all later inference is invalidated, the type of `id` is set back to `int?`. But the tmp variable was always an `int` so it stays that way.

@lets4r @_incendial It does invalidate all inference when the variable is closed over (i.e. escapes the current scope), but since your temporary variable was declared as `int` and no further type inference was performed, this has no effect.
