After talking with a close friend, I realized that I misinterpreted the situation. I mistook the smallest compliments as grand gestures. I do this often. I was wrong. She did nothing wrong. I didn't blame her in the first place though. If we never talk again, I wish her the best.

1/2 I guess she doesn't want to be friends anymore. I've been there for her, lifted her up, comforted her when the guy that has been treating her poorly deleted her from social media ... again. I had feelings for her but they were not reciprocated.

It's like that song: I say all the right things at exactly the right time, but I mean nothing to you and I don't know why. He doesn't give her the respect she deserves, he plays games with her emotions, breaks her heart yet she still wants him. Here I am doing the opposite 1/2

It sucks when you have feelings for someone, you told them, but they have feelings for someone else who apparently doesn't want to give them the time of day. But you also don't want to make it a big deal because you don't want to pressure them. My apologies if she ever sees this.
