@Koltdawg Last year there were over 400,000 kids in foster care/trying to be adopted. Why can’t we put more money towards supporting these kids and finding them homes or putting more money into better shelter systems?

So any random stranger can get paid to tell on a woman for having a procedure, that affects her life indefinitely ~yet~ some woman still don’t even get a maternity leave to take care of these children they are forced to have. Hm, somethings off

@Koltdawg Fine. But how do these women get the help they need to raise this child? the same people that don’t want woman to have a choice, are the same people that don’t want their “hard earned money” going to those women who cannot help these said children.

@Koltdawg I’m saying males have the choice to walk away after sex. Females can’t just walk away if they become pregnant. And now in Texas they don’t have a choice of what to do with their body after they learn of the pregnancy.

@Koltdawg I know companies where maternity leave is still not offered. Some women still have to use their vacation time, sick time, and personal days as maternity leave. Then go on to use FMLA and/or short term disability.

@Koltdawg Also the “her decision.” It’s a joint decision between 2 people. So why aren’t we handing out male BC? Why do the male counterparts not receive the same backlash when they walk away after having consensual sex resulting in pregnancy?

@Koltdawg What you are saying makes sense, yes. However, this law does not only pertain to that. Rape? Non consensual sex? Incest? That is being forced.
