@ZahraPsych I was told something very similar to this. Since starting my petition my LA have agreed to extend my placement. However, we shouldn’t have to fight so hard to get decisions like this made. It needs to be statutory law that we get the option.

@geekyisgood I’ve had experience with the Parliament petition site and the one thing that I couldn’t deal with was that you can’t have a dialogue with those who sign in. Change.org is good for running a campaign on, whereas the Parliament petition site feels clinical to me 🙂

@geekyisgood I considered using that platform but although they have to give a response to all petitions that reach 10,000 signatures, I don’t think that my petition is going to get that many as it’s a bit specific. I’m aiming to get some MPs on side though.
