Starting a habit can be difficult, but to be consistent, I've realised that imperfect execution is better than no execution at all.

I've learnt that if I set myself to only work within an 8 hour period - I'm much more productive than doing 10hr+ days. I think its because setting a limit forces you to think about how you can make the most out of your time.

Favourite lesson I've learnt today from Effective Java: "Exceptions should be reserved for exceptional circumstances". Don't throw them unless you truly need to.

Heres how to start a reading habit. - pick a book - read 2 pages each day - increase the amount of pages every week to an amount you're comfortable with. After a year you'd have acquired an abundance of knowledge.

Just completed @dvassallo's course on building a twitter audience. Best thing I've learnt is about utilising engagement as a better measurement of success in comparison to follower count. Time to execute! Will make progress post in a years time.
