Où est le Premier ministre de fait ? Où est le Ministère de l’intérieur ? Où est le Ministère des affaires étrangères ? Quelles démarches ces autorités entreprennent-elles ? Que disent-elles à la population ? La diplomatie n’a pas à tout rendre public. Mais la discrétion diplomatique ne saurait servir d’alibi à l’effacement politique. Et au cœur d’une crise d’une telle gravité, alors que la population attend de ses prétendus dirigeants une réponse à la hauteur de la situation, ce sont les images du Premier ministre de fait à une célébration privée à l’étranger qui lui parviennent. La fête occupe l’espace laissé vacant par l’exercice de la fonction. Oui, un dirigeant a droit à une vie privée. Mais accepter de gouverner un pays plongé dans une telle détresse, c’est accepter que la gravité des circonstances impose des devoirs. Tout ce qui est permis à l’homme n’est pas nécessairement digne de la fonction. À quoi sert d’avoir un «Premier ministre» si, dans les heures les plus graves, le pays doit encore se passer de lui ? #lajenèskisawle

What we are seeing play out in #Haiti and across social media with all of these bogus odes to Bukele is Full Spectrum U.S. Dominance. Anyone with any amount of anti-imperialist sense knows that #Bukele, #Prince & #Rubio will never be saviors of the Haitian masses. They represent their own interests and those of imperialism. Up to this point, with all of their drones & Haitian underlings, they have only murdered more innocents & the ti solda yo (the child soldiers of the gangs). Not one warlord who has done their bidding for years has been touched. The Haitian people could clean up this paramilitary mess spawned by U.S. g*ns, the cocaine trade and international meddling, but they have intentionally been disarmed and displaced since 2018 by the paramilitary gang project. At the same time, one has to understand this crisis dialectically. If you were burned out of your home & neighborhood in Port-au-Prince & Latibonit by paramilitary gangs, how would you feel right now about the gangs being on their back foot for the first time? If you were living homeless in the streets or in a make-shift displacement camp, and finally after years, some force was coming that was going to confront these paramilitary gangs, who would you be rooting for? Viv Ansanm & Gran Griff, the paramilitary gangs, will use the masses as Human Shields. They will bribe them and coerce them to do coordinated marches, even using false patriotic rhetoric to make it look like the paramilitaries care about the communities they have raped, burned & massacred. From the perspective of the masses, Haiti is occupied by 2 foreign armies, who have always had the same mission: to subjugate them. Now that Barbecue & the paramilitaries, armed to the teeth with the most sophisticated U.S. weapons, finished their mission of destabilizing Haiti, they now serve as the colonial excuse for massive invasion and occupation, just like Noriega, Saddam & Bin Laden did at one point. The chief victims of the ongoing War on Haiti are its everyday people who only desire to be left alone to pursue a future free of colonial violence and trauma. The winners are the weapons manufacturers, the drug trade & the opportunistic cowards like Bukele, Prince & Rubio who get to play “savior” for SM.

The history was removed because history is never just about the past. History is the story a civilization tells about why it deserves what it has. If Africa had no history before Europe, no kingdoms, no universities, no philosophy, no science, no architecture, then colonialism brought civilization to a void. And bringing civilization to a void is not a crime. It is, in the logic of the story, a service. But if Africa had kingdoms and universities and philosophy and science and architecture, then colonialism did not bring civilization. It destroyed it. And the wealth that built the banks and the factories and the museums and the universities of Europe was not generated by European genius operating on empty land. It was taken. From specific people. In specific places. Who had built specific things that were then burned. Those two sentences cannot both be true. The colonial project needed one of them to disappear. So the history disappeared. Textbooks were written. Curricula were designed. Hegel was assigned. The word "tribe" was chosen over the word "kingdom". The libraries of Timbuktu were not mentioned. And a world was taught a story about itself that required the removal of most of the world from the story. That removal was not scholarship. It was self-defense. And the return of the history, the real, documented, academically rigorous, stone-and-manuscript and city-and-empire history, is not an accusation. It is just the rest of the sentence. The part they needed you never to hear.

On this day in 1962, the Cuban Missile Crisis began after President JFK announced a blockade on Cuba🇨🇺, following the discovery of Soviet missile sites in the country. The Soviet Union’s positioning of missiles was a direct response to US nuclear weapons being placed in Turkey and Italy, aimed at the USSR… And the US’ failed CIA Bay of Pigs invasion, which was an embarrassing attempt at removing Fidel Castro from power. For 13 days, the Soviet Union and the United States stood at the brink of nuclear Armageddon. Tense negotiations between General Secretary Nikita Khrushchev and President John F. Kennedy averted disaster, with the Soviet Union agreeing to remove its missiles from Cuba, while the US pledged to not invade Cuba and promised to remove its nuclear weapons from Turkey. Arguably, the situation today is far worse than the Cuban Missile Crisis, and is a result of Washington’s and NATO’s hypocrisy. The US took the world to the brink of nuclear war in 1962 over Soviet nuclear weapons being placed in Cuba…over the 21st Century, US and NATO nation troops and strike systems, sit on Russia’s borders. US nuclear weapons are stationed in Europe, aimed at Russia. Not once have NATO leaders acknowledged that if the shoe were on the other foot, with Russia or China attempting to build a military presence in Mexico or Canada, the US would react with a ferocious military attack. NATO weaponry is being fired deep into Russia via Washington’s proxy, Zelensky, a scenario that would have been unthinkable even at the height of the so-called Cold War. One strike causing a mass casualty event could start a NATO-Russia direct conflict.

It’s genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak the unvarnished truth instead of peddling a carefully manufactured load of bullshit designed to deceive, manipulate, and brainwash the masses.....

France never wanted to leave and has never left Africa. It's instructive that when they claimed to have left, they formed the Organization of African Unity. The British created their own, the Commonwealth. The Portuguese never left until 1980, fighting several brutal wars with Africans. Apartheid only ended in 1994. Those systems have been modernized to still keep Africa under control with several African puppets acting as middlemen.
