@jimhamilton4 Social media companies care only about clicks, not a jot for the bile aimed at kids. Technology raced ahead without understanding impacts but it's clear now. Kids'll have plenty time to learn to use a smartphone when they're older. Protect them now.

@jimhamilton4 Spot on Jim. Research clearly shows mental health problems among young people have soared since smartphones became ubiquitous well over a decade ago. Weakened social bonds, increased loneliness, sadness and social anxiety are also a real problem among children.
