I'd like to announce my retirement from @Offaly_GAA. After 2 championship sub appearances in 2014 and 2015, and a handful in the league, the time is right to call it a day. Thank you to the fans for always standing by me, literally, because I was on the bench on the terrace side.

A9: Scaling problems that a) there child is having and b) they have with the school/teachers. Also just helpful for them to be familiar with the language being used so they can be involved in the SEL conversation at home and support their child. #SHAPEHealthEd

A8: Team up with another teacher who supports #SEL who will hold you accountable. Have them observe your class, check in on ideas etc. #SHAPEHealthEd

A7: I find it difficult to measure, but when I hear the SEL language I've taught being used or moments where students take ownership of situations that they had previously struggled to do so I know its having a +ve impact. But dont have hard date to show it #SHAPEHealthEd

A5: Share personal stories with the class that they can connect to. Spend time getting to know about children's personal lives outside of school helps me to make connections and know I have an interest in their lives #SHAPEHealthEd

A4: School life and personal life can be extremely stressful. I belive that #SEL skills help students to manage and stay in control and see the bigger picture and not caught up in the emotions of the stress. #SHAPEHealthEd

A3: I work in an independent school so it helps to have the freedom to focus on the #SEL skills that are most pertinent for my students. This is flexible and changes throughout the year. #SHAPEHealthEd
