Dealing with one of my HVAC people today who I’ve been working with for years. And after a conversation where I was rightly annoyed about something that still wasn’t fixed Roland was like ‘wow he talks to you so differently than he talks to me misogyny really is everywhere’

@StevenINK @KurtisKolt We had to add an extra year onto our degree at McGill even with grade 13. The Quebec students did their degrees in three years and everyone else did four, starting with a 'Year 0'

@KurtisKolt We had to have six OAC (Ontario Academic Credits) courses to qualify for university entrance. You could 'fast track' and squeeze it into four years if you didn't take any fun electives. It did not shave any time off your uni degree (unlike CEGEP I'm Quebec)

@KurtisKolt @pattibacchus I also did grade 13 in Ontario but I can confirm it was a massive waste of time.

@collynahart I am just sort of accepting that nothing major is going to happen until we are out of the toddler phase.

@TheBlackHoof I've always just paid a florist for exactly this at restaurants. I don't see why they couldn't do it for your home? They usually provide their own vases.

Republicans like to make fun of the fact that I used to be a waitress, but we all know if they ever had to do a double they’d be the ones found crying in the walk-in fridge halfway through their first shift bc someone yelled at them for bringing seltzer when they wanted sparkling
