@Gjeebs My 16 year old recently started driving a Tesla. And I can say with confidence using FSD doesn’t teach you how to drive at all but on the other hand FSD is safer at driving than she is. So if she won’t gain experience driving her self she won’t be able to drive a regular car.
@brandenflasch That is what I’m trying to decide but we dont have enough data yet to make the call, don’t know any specs on the battery in MYL or the price. Don’t know real world range of R2 either or if and when their FSD will be on par with Tesla.
@BeardedTesla I still can’t decide between the two, I will need to test drive R2 myself before I can make final call. I think either way you are not making a bad choice
@rajuvamsi007 @OutofSpecDetail I don’t off-road currently as I drive 22 MY but I would like to go on some easier trails and I like a lot of things about R2 it’s just a cooler vehicle but I think in the end I will have to test drive both of them myself and see how I like the driving characteristics better
@OutofSpecDetail @rajuvamsi007 I’m actually trying to decide between those two, MYL is not available yet but most likely it will be released by the end of the year in the US and I doubt I will get my R2 reservation anytime soon. I don’t need 3 rows but you do get a lot more room in MYL and more air vents
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner @RoamingNorway @OutofSpecDetail @OOSScot @OutofSpecDave @alex_bessinger @wes_r_woodard @MurrayxLogan I have 2 teslas right now and I really like them, was going to buy another after my lease expires but when you add cost of FSD it will simply be too expensive comparing to competitors. FSD is great but not worth $99 a month at least as it stands today it’s just a luxury feature.
@IIISchulze Ionna Goodland, KS station opened today and it’s a great spot for Tesla drivers as the only supercharger nearby is a 6 stall V2 with no amenities
