Third week into my new job and the first mental breakdown is a fact
who knows, if i never showed up, what could've been
Tomorrow is my first dat at a new job so of course I'm wide wake at 4am
I love painting walls and furniture because its so satisfying. Also it keeps my hands busy while I'm listening to a podcast or music.
Tallgirl problem at the dentist today: my body is too long for the chair so I had to arch my back while undergoing my regular check up, that took about 10 minutes. 😬

I have ADHD and sometimes that makes me a lousy friend. I will forget to text you happy birthday, or respond to something you send at all. I'm lousy at thinking of a gift when I'm going to a party. But when a true friend needs me, I'll do anything. But they do have to ask.
Today I helped my friend, we painted the nursery for her future baby and I'm so excited for her. She was nervous to paint by herself but I gave her some tips. I hope she gained some confidence on the way. We are capable to so much more than we think!

When Autistics and ADHDers express they’re unhappy about something, take what they’re saying very seriously. Often when I speak up people don’t take me seriously, because it’s the first time I’m speaking up and I’ve let a lot pass. But, my first time speaking up is often my last.
When we AuDHd:ers voice minor grievances about people in our lives, it's typically indicative of one of two things: we are either on the verge of severing ties or actively seeking ways to address issues directly, with verbalizing thoughts serving as a processing mechanism.
