Agents that can do large scale migration tasks are *almost* here. This could take an engineer days by hand.
We just posted an update to our blog on what this looks like including the output of a long running python to typescript translation task.
Find it in the blog post!
Agents suck at maintaining consistency over long tasks.
Just try to port @browser_use to typescript using an agent and a single sentence with minimal input.
We've had this as an eval for months. And now its almost a solved problem.
Here's what happens when you try it:
update on slate:
its a really good CLI for complex problems!
i was having some very annoying issues with rendering a canvas with 10-thousands of pixels of length and thousands of notes in it

We’ve been beta testing Slate for the last month, the team absolutely cooked. It’s been able to handle a number of complex tasks that no other coding agent could do.
Many more unlocks to be had through better agent loops and Slate is laser focused on this problem

There's gonna come a day when vibe coded slop is no longer slop, when telling the agent to just "fix the bug" is optimal, and software reorganizes itself, that day is soon.
