Yep, gotta evaluate yourself and what you have to offer the world. But I think even that is not the end. Like, just because you work on yourself and grow doesn't mean you now get to demand more. The problem is comparison, you can ALWAYS find something your significant other doesn't have in another person. Who cares. Love is simply asking yourself (within reason) how can I serve this person, and in turn they ask how themselves how they can serve you. You'll both become way better without even having to talk about it. And no other people need to be considered on your way to being joyful together

There's an insane amount of people who just phone/tv all the time at home. We make it a point with our friends/family to have standing days we get together just to build the habit. Then if you're regularly seeing other people it's no big deal to make it last all day or to miss one. Let's just chill for an hour or two and go from there
