#NConfigurator 1.8.3 and Firmware 56 for #NeutronHiFi DAC V1 are released. New DAC → Voltage Mode option: enables analog gain [0, -24] dB which is useful for sensitive headphones and IEMs as it limits current flow on the speaker winding. New THD presets made SNR much better.

#SuperTinyKernel - have heard of it? It is an open-source tiny C++ thread scheduling kernel. STK adds multithreading to your embedded project which can be ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V MCU based. Similar to FreeRTOS but easy to apply and use (no porting needed). stk.neutroncode.com

Neutron Recorder 1.09.0 is out! Similarly to Neutron Player 2.26.0 it now supports SMB2/3 sources that allows recording audio directly to the remote storage over SMB protocol. The release also accumulates all core improvements and bug fixes inherited from NMP.

Neutron Player 2.26.0 is out on Android, Windows platforms and pending for Apple. It features long-awaited SMB2/3 support! SMBv1 is gradually disappearing from the devices when they receive new firmware. You can disable SMBv1 in Neutron for better enumeration speed.

Mobile + Web version of NConfigurator tool for #NeutronHiFi DAC V1 is under active development and will be released soon on #Android platform (mobile app). You will also be able to run NConfigurator as service on headless device (Windows, Linux) and access it with a web browser.
