Paul’s words in Galatians 3:3-4 are haunting. “Are you so foolish? After beginning by the Spirit, are you now finishing by the flesh? Did you experience so much for nothing?” We who are called by the Spirit cannot fulfill our calling with the flesh. It takes God to serve God.
