Phone with Pops always turn into family history lessons. Today I learned my grandma had to get married in another state (twice) because of Virginia’s laws against biracial marriages in the 1950s/60s.

Do y’all not understand that servers make NEGATIVE money when you don’t tip? Tip share is out of the total percent of sales, not tips. A percent of your meal gets taken from other tips when you stiff your server. They aren’t working for free, they’re paying to work for you.

Why is access to good mental health support so difficult? And why is it so variable across the country? Some areas offer amazing support where others are left with basically nothing. Strict criteria. Not sick enough. Too complex. High functioning. Change is needed & is needed NOW
