All your fiat based assets are ultimately secured by the same legal system that today made it illegal for me to host the Bitcoin whitepaper because a notorious liar swore before a judge that he's Satoshi. A system where 'justice' depends on who's got the bigger wallet.

I always forget when I speak to non-Bitcoiners that they don't take for granted like I do that this has only been the #Bitcoin bull-run warm up... Then I remember that it is precisely because of their sentiment that it is indeed still the warm up...

But one could spin this in the other direction too: The development is too centralised and one of the major ways in which it's failing today. LOT=true would demonstrate core's full power. In my view LOT=true in other implementations is just fine.

I would not want them to be excluded of the upgrade, if there is another option. If they would veto the upgrade, the users could threaten to exclude them, not earlier.

I don't believe I'm the only person thinking like this. But for the UASF 2.0 to work the vast majority incl. economic nodes need to be convinced. That's not feasible.

@NotASithLord @crypt0e @MartyBent Anyone that is not convinced about the "UASF" and does not run it will split away. This could be exchanges and online wallets. Anyone who does not want to decide for a side will list both chains. Just like 2017.
@crypt0e @MartyBent I don't see why we should use the hardfork approach first when there is no real enemy to use it against. I mean it's the utility of last resort and should stay that way.
@udiWertheimer Bitcoin should be upgraded nothing wrong about that! But NOT using another UASF if not needed.
