لكن المصاب بثنائي القطب يواجه مشاكل أخرى حين يكون في حالة مزاجية جيدة: يمتلك ثقة مفرطة طاقته عالية وقد لا ينام لأيام متواصلة يصاب بهلوسات يميل لأخذ قرارات متهورة من الخطأ أن يعتبر الشخص الجانب الجيّد من ثنائي القطب نقطة قوة ويتغافل عن العلاج!!
