Proud to share our progress on simulating our construction using Inverse Kinematics in @GoogleDeepMind MuJoCo. Such closed-loop arms are much simpler, 10x less costly, with 10x higher load capacity.
Progress on our 10x less expensive with 20x higher load capacity robotic arm. It's super easy DIY and open source. Only 4 linear actuators needed - 250$ each. What do you think? #robotics #opensource #DIY #humanoids
A patented robot arm simulated in @GoogleDeepMind MuJoCo. The arm costs 1k USD and picks up 20 kg. Super simple construction with linear actuators only. Btw. @OpenRoboticsOrg Gazebo doesn't work with closed-loop IK. Any ideas?
