Bu mesajı sosyal medyada gören biri bana göndermiş. Babam bize böyle şeyleri hiç anlatmadığı için ben bu olayı çok sonra, yanında çalışan birinden duymuştum. Babam sınıfı Jandarma olmadığı halde 2 sene Jandarma Asayiş Komutanı olarak Güneydoğu’da görev yaptı. Operasyonları uzaktan izlemedi, askeriyle birlikte bizzat katıldı. Üstün hizmet ödülü aldı. Çelişkiye bakın ki, bundan 25 sene sonra aynı Jandarma’nın beş askeri hastaneden kaçar diye başında nöbet tuttu. Üç tanesi de silahlarıyla birlikte ameliyathaneye girmeye çalışmışlar. ‘Girin, ameliyatı izleyin’ diye emir gelmiş. İnsaf.
Bu akşam babam 1.5 aydır tedavi gördüğü hastaneden taburcu edildi ve cezaevindeki hücresine geri gönderildi. Göz göre göre cinayet işleniyor. Diyecek başka bir şey bulamıyorum. ankahaber.net/haber/detay/yo…

This was a very challenging semester, but I feel incredibly lucky to have had such great students. This is easily the best card I’ve ever received.
Osman Kavala has been in prison for 1,000 days, on totally baseless charges. He stood out for his hard work to heal Turkey’s ethnic, religious, cultural rifts. The regime has turned him into a towering monument for its cruelty and vindictiveness. @FreeOsmanKavala
Dan’s teaching has been a source of inspiration for many of us at HKS and I am so happy to see that many more will be benefiting from his wisdom. Truly excellent book.
