The election for Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner has to be re-run because the Conservatives put up a candidate who was ineligible. The £1m+ cost should not be borne by the tax-payer. buff.ly/2Qdreau

The Crime Commissioner has been allocated £244,000 to distribute to organisations who support victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, to help them during the Covid -19. The deadline for applications is 4pm on Monday 1 June. More info at crowd.in/Qf1cKA

Wiltshire Council is offering a reward of up to £200 to encourage witnesses to come forward if they see fly-tipping. Excellent! But would fly-tipping be such a problem if there weren’t 2 hour queues to get into the Council tip? More info 👉🏽 orlo.uk/LAUqs

If queues at the tip are so long that people have to wait many hours, then the council isn’t doing enough to provide for this important facility. Councillors need to be more imaginative about opening times and access arrangements. More info 👉🏻 orlo.uk/xB2Ro

Cummings: If he had wanted to test his fitness to drive to London, he could have driven South until he felt unwell and then driven back. His excuse that the trip to Barnard Castle was a test for the following day was unbelievable. Sitting by the lake turned it into a leisure trip
