The big reason is one nobody wants to admit. Most of Vegas existence cost of visitation was subsidized by gamblers. It’s ramped up since COVID but for 20 years Vegas has been shifting the expected revenue stream from gaming to RFB and experiences. To attract different clientele

It cracks me up how much MAGA world tracks gas prices. Typically “higher” gas prices are indicator of a well running economy although they like to tell you the opposite. Especially when DEMs are in power.

He is within his rights to golf at his resorts but stop with the “he does this job for free”. Every time he leaves the Whitehouse for one of his properties millions goes into the pockets of his companies.

I disagree with Trump’s goal of mass deportation but can someone give a legit reason why they oppose DACA? On its basic level we as a society have invested in these people and they have invested in the US. Why throw away with constant fear of deportation? cnn.com/2025/01/17/pol…

My opinion on betting is let people live. But lots of people using voting markets as a way to say “Trump will win”. Terrible idea as traditionally soft bet markets are terrible predictors. This market was always going to favor Trump. Look at demographics of the gambling public.
