@thepearsonified @AndrewWarner @omarchy We belive in WordPress too, so we built Phasein: chat, and get a 100% WordPress site. WPVibe conects AI to a site you already host. With PHasein there is no hosting, no install and no setup just vibe!

@kurtlibby @learnwithmattc That's exactly the crowd we're building for. You build by chatting, like Lovable, but what comes out is a regular WordPress site: block-editor pages, full wp-admin, any plugin. So comments and forms just work, and clients keep the editor they already know.

@JamesWelbes WordPress is 43% of the web, and these agents learned by reading the web. They were basically raised on WordPress. Of course they dream about it 🙂

@michael_kove @reallyoptimized Those $2–4k Midwest brochure sites are what AI turns into a weekend project. What still pays: Woo quirks, CRM forms, clients changing hours at 11pm. Pretty homepage = cooked. A site they own and can edit = AI just makes pass one cheaper. We build toward that second case.

@areimann @arunaswp You're onto something. Ask an LLM how to build a small business site and you get Lovable/Framer/Webflow long before WordPress. Training data favors shiny tools, and WP is hard to generate cleanly. We build AI that outputs real WordPress for that gap. Biased, yes.

@miriamschwab What do you think of Gutenberg? Is it ready?

@craigburgess Agree on the shape. One addition: the squeeze on "done with you" is also an opening. If AI cuts the build from 3 weeks to 2 days, that tier has margin again, as long as the client still ends up with a CMS they can actually use after handoff.

@Rubio_tv This matches what I keep hearing: the build gets faster, the handoff gets worse. What broke first for your clients, editing copy or adding things later? (We at Phasein, AI builder that outputs normal WP + blocks, collecting exactly these pain points)

@banishangural Try this: hand a vibe-coded CMS to a client, then disappear for a year. Who patches it? Who adds a booking plugin? Who can they hire? With WP the answer is "anyone." Disclosure: I'm building Phasein (AI that builds real WordPress), so I'm biased. But that's the bet.

@OliverBugar Not crazy for your own projects. The catch shows up with clients: the day they want to change a price at 9pm, a custom CMS means they call you. WP's real moat is the boring admin everyone already knows. I'd vibe-code on top of it, not instead of it.

@PatSchaber That’s why we built Phasein, so you could do 100% vibe coding with 100% WordPress. Remember in any code project you have maintenance in some way
