Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan was Vice President for 2 years and President for 6 years. Peter Obi was Governor of Anambra State for 8 years. Peter Obi sought for the Federal Government's approval to obtain loan for malaria and President Jonathan graciously granted him the approval. Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State sought the support of President Tinubu for seaport, marine economy, cargo airports and refinery development and President Tinubu granted him. Each acted according to the level of their vision for what they think is best for their people. There will always be a difference between a visionary leader and a myopic talkative leader.
RE: VON BATTEN'S THREAT TO SUE.
Ikemefuna (AKA Mrs. Karl Von Batten) says he has "been cleared and authorised" to sue me and @OfficialABAT for 36 million USD and to impose a visa ban on us in the US, UK and EU.
I am laughing in Hebrew ๐.
Ikemefuna, who "cleared and authorised" you to embark on this adventure?
Was it the warden that locked you up in 2003 when you were convicted? ๐คฃ
GOSH, I am so scared that I am shivering in my socks! ๐
Yet I wonder why a grown man like you needs anyone's permission to sue?
36 million USD ko, 36 million USD ni! ๐คฃ
I have no words for a shameless clown & ex-convict like who has been contracted by Atiku Abubakar to distract our President, our Government & me from the crucial work that we are doing and the presidential campaign that lies ahead. Can't you find something better to do?
First you allege that you were offered a 3 million USD bribe by those you described as "agents of Tinubu" and now you allege that the President, the Federal Government and I are planning to kidnap you, subject you to extra-judicial detention, physically harm you, unleash acts of terror against you and kill you. What on earth are you smoking?
Outside of getting prayers for deliverance from the demons that have seized your diseased mind, I urge you to see a medical practitioner and get help for what can only be described as mental illness.
Two days ago I responded to your asinine allegations in my article titled 'Why Is Karl Von Batten Hiding Under His Bed?' and pointed out how absurd they are.
I again challenge you to provide the evidence of these threats from me, the President and the Federal Government & MAKE THEM PUBLIC.
For the record I do not care what you do and I am not losing any sleep over your threats.
You have accused President Tinubu, the Nigerian Government & me of being part of a corrupt, criminal syndicate and enterprise that are involved in transnational terrorism and that physically harm, kill & kidnap people without any evidence.
Outside of that you have accused our President of being a convicted drug smuggler despite the fact that he has never been indicted or convicted by any court of law.
Nigeria is not a Banana Republic. Our Government does not target, kidnap, harm or kill opposition figures and are not involved in any acts of state-sponsored terrorism.
Outside of that who and what are you that would in any way attract our concern? You are just too small.
You are totally inconsequential in the scheme of things.
We have always operated within the law & respected the human rights of Nigerians.
We have NEVER contemplated kidnapping, killing or harming your client Atiku Abubakar who paid you a whopping 1.2 million USD to carry out a vile and vicious campaign of calmuny and malicious hatchet job against our President in the international media, so why would we contemplate kidnapping, killing or harming one of his many errand boys like you?
Such unlawful and heinous practices are an abomination to God & to this Government.
Your delusions of grandeur must come to an end.
Can a man who inflated a ceremonial unpaid education seat into a Trump government credential, then pulled down the post when the inflation was exposed be taken seriously? I doubt it.
You are nothing but a liar, a slanderer, a scammer, a coward, a bully & a merchant of falsehood.
Be rest assured that you will be hearing from my lawyers soon and I will be demanding at least 100 million USD for your libellous falsehood & vicious slander against my person in a duly constituted court of law in the United States of America.
I will also seek for your lawful extradition from America to come and answer for your numerous violations of our Cybercrime laws & criminal defamation before a duly constituted court of law here in Nigeria.
You have been put on notice. From now on it is lawyer to lawyer. See you in court.
My regards to your husband Mrs. Elizabeth Von Batten.

In 1974, If citizens of each country were to hypothetically demand their share from their respective nation's daily oil production, each Arabian will get at least 1.963 barrel or 312 litres. Guess what a Nigerian gets from his country's seemingly abundant production even in 1974, our best year for that era? They get 0.03655 barrel or 5.81 litres.
While a Saudi Arabian can hypothetically fuel his SUVs, generating plants, and other gasoline demanding machines for at least one month from his daily quota, a Nigerian can barely run his Bajaj Okada for a day.
That means the hypothetical Saudi citizen had access to about 53.7 times as much daily oil production per head as the Nigerian citizen
IS NIGERIA AN OIL RICH NATION OR MERELY AN OIL PRODUCING NATION?
I have often observed that Nigerians, across generations, have erected a monstrous tower of expectations upon a surprisingly shallow valley of reality.

If we mistakenly give Obi power in Nigeria, I will pack my bags and get the fvck out of this country.
Obi will not blink an eye to murder half of our population to remain an unopposable emperor...
This is how the Washington Times reported it. Peter Obi apparently became enraged that the crowd was shouting Ngigeโs name. He sent armed men to the crowd to fish out the hecklers. Stampede ensued. People died. Peter Obi quietly sneaked out of the scene.

Anytime I remember how our igbo parents were crying in Anambra because Peter Obi was owing them salaries. I always make a vow that I will do my best to make sure that Peter Obi never becomes president.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
ANOTHER WIN FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU: AFTER 50 YEARS, IMA GAS PROJECT IS SET TO TAKE OFF
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomes the $800 million Final Investment Decision (FID) on the Ima Gas Project, marking another major milestone in his administrationโs drive to unlock Nigeriaโs vast gas resources for investment, industrialisation, job creation and economic prosperity.
Developed by Nigerian independent AMNI International in partnership with TotalEnergies, the Ima Gas Project is expected to produce about 300 million standard cubic feet of gas per day at peak.
The Ima gas resource, located offshore in OMLs 112 and 117, was discovered in 1973 but remained undeveloped for more than five decades. Despite its significant reserves and potential as a feed gas source for Nigeria LNG Limited, the resource remained underground and unable to contribute meaningfully to Nigeriaโs economy. The FID, announced on September 23, has changed this.
The Ima gas project marks the fourth major gas project to reach Final Investment Decision since President Tinubu assumed office, following the Iseni, Ubeta, and HI FIDs.
These FIDs reflect the growing momentum of investment in Nigeriaโs gas sector and the administrationโs drive to convert the countryโs vast gas resources into productive projects that create jobs, generate revenues and expand economic opportunity for Nigerians.
President Tinubu said: โFor more than fifty years, the gas beneath Ima remained a resource with enormous potential, but potential alone does not create jobs, finance businesses or improve the lives of our people. Our responsibility has been to create the conditions that turn Nigeriaโs natural resources into productive investments and economic opportunitiesโ
โThe Final Investment Decision on Ima demonstrates what is possible when we provide investors with a competitive, predictable and enabling environment. We are determined to unlock more of Nigeriaโs gas resources to power our industries, expand our exports, create jobs and build lasting prosperity for our people.โ
Since assuming office, President Tinubu has prioritised reforms to reverse years of underinvestment in Nigeriaโs oil and gas industry.
Although the Petroleum Industry Act of 2021 laid an important foundation, several undeveloped projects lacked the fiscal and commercial conditions needed to become viable.
In 2024, President Tinubu issued a series of Presidential Directives developed by the team led by the Special Adviser to the President on Energy. These directives sought to improve fiscal competitiveness, shorten contracting timelines and reduce costs.
Special Adviser to the President on Energy, Ms Olu Arowolo Verheijen, said, โThe story of Ima is ultimately the story of what our reforms are designed to achieve. Nigeria has never lacked resources. The challenge has been creating the commercial and investment conditions required to move those resources from beneath the ground into projects that employ Nigerians, create opportunities for Nigerian businesses, generate revenues and support economic growth.โ
โA gas discovery made in 1973 can only contribute to prosperity when somebody invests the capital to develop it, banks finance it, contractors build it, Nigerians work on it, and the gas is ultimately put to productive use. That is the transition we are seeing today.โ
The project also demonstrates the growing depth of Nigerian participation across the energy value chain. AMNI International, a Nigerian-owned exploration and production company, holds a majority interest in the asset, illustrating the increasing capacity of indigenous companies to participate in and lead increasingly significant developments in Nigeriaโs upstream sector.
Nigerian financial institutions have arranged 77 per cent of the projectโs financing, with around 60 per cent of the project workforce expected to come from host communities, including Bonny, Finima and Andoni in Rivers State.
For decades, Nigeria has had one of Africaโs largest gas resource bases, yet significant volumes have remained undeveloped.
The Tinubu administrationโs gas strategy therefore focuses not simply on producing more gas, but on putting that gas to work: supporting LNG exports and foreign exchange earnings, providing feedstock for industry, enabling fertiliser and petrochemical production, supporting a more reliable power supply, and creating new opportunities for Nigerian businesses and workers.
โNatural resources have value only when they are converted into opportunities for our people,โ President Tinubu said. โOur goal is to ensure that Nigeriaโs gas powers Nigerian prosperity.โ

Special Adviser to the President
