Too flight football without VAR is bloody ace. Proof of concept is the League Cup /EFL quarters games. All flowed fantastically. Officials were confident. Players got on with it. Every game had a “VAR check” incident but not one game was spoiled by its absence. @LateChallenge

Al-Ettifaq get between 3k-6k crowds at home games (14k vs Ronaldos team). Am sure Hendo, Fabinho and Steven Gerrard will buzz off that atmosphere every week. That’s what being an elite footballer is all about.
