Social media has both its positives and negatives, but I think it is amazing how much a person can get out of social media, it is becoming the biggest part of our lives @educ307
The media is always trying to give people and influence people by a certain image or by presenting only one side of the story @educ307
In my opinion, the documentary on Mickey Mouse was so eye opening because sometimes we forget that most of the biggest outlets are controlled by only a few people @Educ307
I agree, I think when talking about social media we sometimes forget the positive things it brings and we focus on its negative impact x.com/atecce29/statu…
I think a lot of people emphasize the negative of social media and teaching, but through this course and using Twitter it made me realize a lot of positives that can come with it and how easily and beneficial it can be when connecting with others.
@marialazaris Same here I always question the videos i watch
So true, people are no longer able to communicate well face to face but are able to communicate through their electronic devices so much better x.com/its_er_/status…
I agree, i think it's important to ensure that children are aware of how to safely and effectively use ICT x.com/nektaria07/sta…
---Both the school and parents should work together to ensure that the student (and child) will be able to not only use ICT in the class, but also how to use it safely and effectively #lesson7
@RupiFelicia I think it's important to introduce technology to children because in the society we live in it's crucial to be able to work along with technology
I agree, because technology opened so many doors for communication and gaining knowledge x.com/carlyguigui307…
I think in some regard technology gives us freedom because it allows us to access information & reach people that are beyond our immediate surroundings #Lesson5
I agree it's like 2 different people x.com/carlyguigui307…
I think when it comes to social media & identity formation there's a divide between an individuals identity online vs. reality #Lesson6
@LoganCoughlinOB I think teachers should always allow laptops especially in colleges and universities where it could be so frustrating to take handwritten notes
happens to me all the time lately it's so creepy x.com/aliciadayan_/s…
Always happens! It's as if they can hear us!! x.com/alandreville_/…
I've heard so many things about this issue and that your webcam can be opened without you knowing it x.com/FabianChris201…
I agree, I think this makes us think twice before posting anything online cause nothing is really private x.com/anastasiakouuu…
@anastasiakouuu I agree, I think it has so many benefits and advantages for students but it's discouraging that not all schools can afford it
yes! I agree, sometimes we are unaware that the things we post could harm us in the future x.com/YDufaan/status…
One thing teachers should teach students is that whatever they post online will never truly be erased. This is important because kids can be kind of reckless, and by posting without thinking can eventually compromise their chances of getting certain jobs later on. #lesson7
I agree we've become so attached to our phones it's ridiculous x.com/AngelaC0735143…
