@clhubes When I'm trying to get my 2yo out the door now she turns to me with the sassiest look and says 'I know, mammy, I know! Slow down!' it's been a month idk where she got it but I love it. This is by FAR my favourite age yet.

@TippysTieDyes I'd decided not to before giving birth bcs I'd have had to stop at 6W PP/get back on strong meds. Midwives harshly encouraged BF so I tried. It was awful. Painful. Baby struggled. Had to stop anyway. If I'd stuck with my plan I'd have avoided the PPD that followed.

@mrsdobbins_ I will say, that although I do agree generally, they're a god send for people with hand/wrist/arm mobility problems that make lifting the pot out to clean it a nightmare. On my worst days using a plastic liner means I can both get my family fed and save myself significant pain

@Adnepos_Iacobi @a_y_sadam @fasc1nate Could it have been the sickness caused by parasitic worms (roundworm/whipworm/hookworm etc)? Massive infestation can cause significant diarrhea/nutritional issues, which could kill an already weak/underfed person and easy to catch in unsanitary conditions.

@CJC56992707 @coccinellanovem @NoContextBrits Some people can't though? Like some days EDS makes it impossible for me and these would be a good alternative, especially since my kid looooves potatoes.

@harriet1marsden Don't put your baby down when they've only been asleep for a minute in your arms, no matter how desperate for a wee you are. Hold for a good 10 minutes AT LEAST (until a lifted arm falls down completely floppy) or they'll startle awake and everyone will cry.

@AsdaServiceTeam why are pampers nappies age restricted through uber?? Like I'm of a legal age but don't have ID, but that shouldn't matter because literal teenagers 14/15/16 year olds have kids??

@matildae22 I don't know you but I get Botox for masseter muscular hypertrophy through an oral surgeon and while it does work really well, I've found that yes the injections can be quite painful! It takes a little while to see any change in pain. I get 3 💉 each jaw side + 3 💉each temple

@CrippingQueer My polling station was moved from the church to the pub next door, which does have an accessable ramp that they then blocked with a placard declaring it the polling station. Lucky I had the pram with me today and wasn't in my wheelchair, but I sharp told them to move it. Insane.

First they came for the refugees, then they came for drag queens and trans men & women, next up was protesters, then they came for lawyers, next was the turn of climate presenters and national treasures, and now they’ve come for sports presenters. You don’t have to agree with all of the above, but you do need to defend their rights, because if you don’t, then when they come for you too, who’ll still want to stand at your side. Put aside your prejudices, hatred and fear is their weapon of choice, rise above it, you’re better that this, and them. The Government are systematically targeting dissent and silencing criticism, they’re controlling our public broadcaster, and the narrative, because that’s all they have left. This is a pivotal moment, a slice of history, you only need to decide if you want to be able to hold your head high and say that you stood against tyranny and creeping fascism, or forever regret enabling it. #FascismCreeps #ToriesOut #ImwithGaryLineker #BBC #GeneralElectionNow #MOTD #Corruption

@Jasonnaber247 @RevDaniel I'd rather a priest with an open and loving heart, at peace with himself and his life, pledged to lead his flock and love all God's creations, than whatever version of religion drives you to the kind of hatred needed to call someone an abomination.
