This behavior is also known as gambler’s fallacy. You think you are due a win, see patterns that aren’t there because your amygdalae is in control whispering to you. We are hardwired to lose and as you size up and are playing at a different level it gets harder unless you’ve built the discipline. This is why most traders don’t survive the game.

@options_insight @multistratmark Excellent interview with a systematic trader. I like 0DTE factors as a concept and agree with his GEX view. It’s just not reliable enough or backtested well.
