@AmericanAir It has now been 6 weeks since American cancelled my flights and locked my AAdvantage account without explanation. American’s poor customer service has now cost your partners @Citibank and @BaskBank my business.

@americanair I want to make it clear that I don’t blame @americanair social media team or the 7 different customer service reps I’ve spoken with. They are doing their best, but appear to be hamstrung by management

@AmericanAir , as it has now been two weeks since AA cancelled my flights and no explanation or refund has been offered despite me reaching out to customer service repeatedly, I am booking replacement flights with United for $7,094 and this is about to become a legal matter

@AmericanAir How much research/time could possibly be involved in explaining what happened or refunding a customer after AA cancelled bookings? I’m sorry that it’s going to cost AA some money and lost business, but what a customer service failure!

@AskCiti When I called, they asked me to physically print and mail the information they were asking for. Surely if electronic communication is good enough for Citibank -> customer, it should be available for customer -> Citibank as well?

@AskCiti I recently opened a dispute regarding an account bonus. I found that citi was good at sending me secure messages, but provided no way for me to reply to provide requested info. Instead, the customer service phone number was given.
