@Activision @ATVIAssist @CallofDuty Also, don't fall for the scam replies here, folks.

Wow, @Activision @ATVIAssist your @CallofDuty anti-cheat is overzealous and/or just broken. I'm all for banning actual cheaters but this time you've banned a legit player with lots of time and money invested in the game. What recourse does a player have in a situation like this?

@jkottke A good ebike can absolutely handle this. A traditional-style bike frame with grocery panniers can haul 2 big grocery bags, or go for a cargo bike if you want even more capacity. I have a Riese & Muller Charger and it has largely replaced my car.

@jboogie I think it depends on the object of the phrase. If the object is “an infinite number,” then it’s singular. If the object is “[things],” then it’s plural.

Alex wasn’t just the best ever at what he did. He was also a lovely and deeply decent man, and I’m grateful for every minute I got to spend with him.

@hotdogsladies I’m almost positive that, in 2003 or so, I was walking behind him down Bryant Street between 3rd and 2nd. Just him and me in the middle of the afternoon. I didn’t say anything either.

. @justinwmmoyer Showing up, being seen, chanting in a way others never fathom yet understand, these too are my voice amplified!!!! @Communica1st @judithheumann @helerader @transit_4_all @DanceforMyself

At the White House around noon, Bob Williams, who uses a computer to speak, joined the protest in a wheelchair. He tried to respond to questions, but could not — the machine that lets him communicate was not working, so he had to remain silent at an event meant to amplify voices.

“I learned early that if you want to be heard you need to speak up anyway you can,” he wrote. “You cannot allow yourself to be silenced by anyone, especially yourself.”
